Preparing for the ERPA-Special Enrollment Examination
In preparing for the ERPA-SEE, candidates may refer to the Internal Revenue Code, Circular 230, IRS publications, as well as IRS tax forms and accompanying instructions which can be found on the IRS Website. AIRE has provided the ERPA-SEE syllabus which includes an overview of the parts of the ERPA-SEE, topics on each of the examination parts and corresponding learning objectives.
Important: For the 2013 ERPA-SEE program year, all references on the examination are to the Internal Revenue Code, as amended through December 31, 2011.
The ERISA Outline Book by Sal L. Tripodi, APM, J.D., LL.M., is recommended as the reference text for the ERPA-Special Enrollment Examination. ERPA Review Sessions (Webcourses)
AIRE offers two review courses – one review course for each ERPA examination part. The webcourses are offered via a streaming download over the Internet. The review sessions are designed to address the most challenging topics covered on corresponding ERPA examination parts. Each of the two review courses is broken into approximate five one-hour online learning sessions by grouping two to three topics together for a total of five hours of review for each course. Candidates can purchase review courses separately in segments or purchase the entire review course. Discounts are offered for course set purchases.
